The City of Columbia, Tennessee (population ~37,500), needed a new website to simplify access to public services and improve communications with residents, businesses and visitors. To address this, the City engaged CivicLive and launched a CivicLive-powered website designed to serve as a central communications tool and public service portal.

CivicLive implemented features like an "I want to..." quick-link slide-out, a comprehensive news and events calendar, social sharing tools, and a Google Translate plug-in supporting 100+ languages. The new CivicLive site delivered better usability, modern design and increased information access, helping the City move closer to its goal of improving public communication and earning strong praise from City leadership.
