Fort Lauderdale DDA needed a single source for information on the transportation options available in Fort Lauderdale after federal funding for its new Wave Trolly. It also wanted a way to showcase restaurants, shops, hotels, nightlife, events, and activities so citizens and visitors could find an ideal destination and get there.

CivicConnect built GoLauderdale as a web and mobile travel tool that combines destination information with a multi-modal trip planner and interactive map. The solution also includes Civic-AR® Augmented Reality capabilities and is described as drawing significant media attention to the Fort Lauderdale area, with future phases planned to integrate kiosks throughout Downtown.
