Case Study: General Mitchell International Airport achieves enhanced GIS training and executive support with Cityworks

A Cityworks Case Study

Preview of the General Mitchell International Airport Case Study

General Mitchell International Airport - Customer Case Study

General Mitchell International Airport engaged Cityworks for GIS-centric asset and work management and sent GIS Specialist Timothy Pearson to the Cityworks User Conference to address challenges around mobile technology, cloud readiness, and tailoring the system to the airport’s unique operational needs. The conference’s pre-conference training and configuration workshops gave the airport direct access to Cityworks designers, programmers and executives to discuss real-world use and customization.

Cityworks provided hands-on training, configuration assistance, and executive-level consultations while unveiling features like Local Government Templates, which helped the airport refine workflows and accelerate adoption. Supported by a conference of more than 500 attendees and over sixty Cityworks staff, the engagement strengthened collaboration, increased the airport team’s confidence in the platform, and advanced Cityworks-based customization and implementation for their GIS management needs.
