Cityworks Helps Deliver More Accurate Budgets at D’Iberville

The City of D’Iberville, Mississippi, Public Works and Facilities department — a nine-person team that handles roughly 1,000 work orders a year — faced the challenge of efficiently managing its infrastructure maintenance, tracking work completion across Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Water & Sewer, and producing accurate budgets and billing information. To address this, the city adopted Cityworks’ asset and work management solution.

Cityworks was rolled out department-wide so crews log labor, materials, equipment and notes for both reactive and preventative work, creating a complete history for each asset and a searchable “paper trail.” Supervisors can track progress, print detailed work orders for billing, and trigger citizen notifications; as a result, the City of D’Iberville is completing work more efficiently, improving customer service, and generating more accurate budgets and workflow reporting using Cityworks.
