The City of South San Francisco needed to modernize Public Works operations, move from paper-based workflows to electronic systems, and meet internal and statewide reporting mandates. As a result of Cityworks, most departments moved from paper to electronic records in about one year, the City met and surpassed California reporting mandates, presented its significant cost savings to the San Francisco Bay Area Regional GIS Council, and reported accelerated quality of work across departments.
