The State of New Jersey Department of Children & Families needed a better way to manage and track data for its School Based Youth Service Program (SBYSP), which funded 90 youth programs across high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools. Cityspan provided a data management system to help case managers handle detailed service records, attendance, and program reporting more efficiently.

Cityspan implemented a web-based system that centralized youth and family registration, tracked individual and group services, and automated state-required reporting. The solution reduced duplicate data entry, improved confidentiality, enabled long-term outcome tracking of more than 10 years of attendance data, and gave administrators accurate program snapshots; it also helped support an evaluation confirming SBYSP’s impact and contributed to expanded state funding for additional schools.
