Providence Employs Data Reporting System to Track Citywide Afterschool Program Enrollment, Effectiveness

Providence After School Alliance (PASA), an initiative of The Education Partnership in Rhode Island, needed a way to coordinate and measure citywide afterschool programming across multiple partner organizations. To better track enrollment, participation, retention, and program effectiveness for youth served throughout Providence, PASA worked with Cityspan and its OST data management system.

Cityspan implemented a single integrated online database customized for each provider and then linked across 12 organizations, giving PASA shared visibility into one set of clients and all programs. The solution enabled centralized enrollment, daily attendance tracking, reduced administrative work, and better funding decisions based on usage data; it also supported services for more than 3,000 youth and helped inform the city’s AfterZones initiative.
