Citywide Data System Tracks Services and Outcomes for More Than 8,000 Saint Paul Youth

Sprockets Saint Paul, a collaboration between the City of Saint Paul, Saint Paul Public Schools, and community-based organizations, needed a better way to track participation and outcomes across its out-of-school time (OST) programs. With more than 7,400 youth served annually across 33 summer and afterschool programs, the organization needed a centralized system to replace paper records and disconnected spreadsheets.

Cityspan created a single, integrated citywide data tracking system for Sprockets Saint Paul, giving providers access to shared student data, individual service histories, and automated reporting tools. The solution standardized data collection citywide, improved reporting for funders and stakeholders, enabled wraparound analysis across multiple providers, and helped expand the network to include more youth-serving agencies while supporting services for more than 8,000 Saint Paul youth.
