ConvertFlow is a no-code conversion optimization platform that helps marketers create personalized calls-to-action and manage on-site retargeting. As the business grew—tracking ~200 million visitors, nearly 1 billion interactions and 40,000+ concurrent visitors—reporting queries on their Postgres/Heroku setup became prohibitively slow (15–30+ seconds), limiting their ability to deliver real-time analytics despite experiments with denormalization and Firebase.

ConvertFlow moved to Citus Cloud to keep Postgres while sharding by tenant, provisioned and migrated in minutes, and saw query times drop to under 500 ms—about 60x faster. That improvement enabled near real-time dashboards, gave confidence in horizontal scaling as customers grow, and let the team focus on product and customer-facing features.
