Veho rolled out a network revamp with Citrix NetScaler

Veho, Finland’s leading automotive trade group with about 2,200 employees and some 45 locations across Finland (plus operations in the Baltics and Sweden), needed a more reliable, secure and easy‑to‑manage network to support extensive internal and external web services. With a broad office footprint and heavy demand for large marketing and technical files, Veho faced slow SharePoint performance, sluggish remote access and a desire to reduce ongoing maintenance overhead.

Veho deployed Citrix NetScaler (two NetScaler 9500 appliances across separate data centers) alongside Citrix Access Gateway to virtualize and load‑balance services, publish intranet/extranet sites and secure VPN/SSL access. The result was noticeably faster SharePoint and website performance, significantly improved VPN and remote connectivity, simplified certificate and service management, built‑in redundancy, and a platform that eases future virtualization and service rollouts.
