UNESCO - Customer Case Study

UNESCO needed to roll out SAP ERP to 65 offices worldwide and make the application available on a wide variety of remote workstations while reducing administrative overhead and the workload on local IT teams.

UNESCO validated and deployed Citrix XenApp with Citrix Access Gateway and ShareFile, then virtualized XenApp servers with Citrix XenServer to centralize and secure application delivery. The solution supported telework, increased user capacity (logons grew from ~60 to 150 and licenses from 100 to 200), cut hardware, storage and maintenance costs, improved scalability and reliability, and reduced server configuration time by roughly two‑thirds.
