Swedavia, the Swedish airport operator responsible for 10 airports and about 40 million passengers a year, needed to balance business agility with tighter security. Employees used roughly 1,500 company smartphones with little IT visibility or control, risking exposure of confidential emails and hindering the rollout of in‑house apps to improve operational efficiency.

Swedavia implemented Citrix XenMobile for enterprise mobility management, gaining granular device and app controls (selective or full wipes, app blocking, OS enforcement), secure email and calendar access, and a private app store via XenMobile Store and Citrix Secure Hub. The solution strengthened security, improved mobile functionality and productivity, and sped development and secure deployment of internal apps.
