SSI built its platform on Citrix technologies—CloudPortal Business Manager, CloudPortal Services Manager and XenServer—to unify orchestration, provisioning, metering, billing and the hypervisor. The Citrix solution enabled self-service provisioning, faster service delivery and simpler IT operations, letting SSI deliver any application to any device while integrating chargeback and payment processing. As a result, SSI grew monthly recurring cloud revenue by more than 50% without adding staff, improved customer experience, and is positioned to add new offerings like storage-as-a-service.
