SSI, a Citrix Solution Advisor and Service Provider in the Philadelphia Tri-State area, provides hosted apps and desktops through its MySecureCloud service and offers the MatterPoint e-discovery platform for legal customers. As SSI moved from sales and consulting to managed cloud services, it needed a single platform to deliver apps to devices, enable assisted self-service and customer self-management, and automate service metering and billing.
SSI implemented a Citrix stack (CloudPlatform, CloudPortal, XenDesktop/XenApp, XenMobile, XenServer, NetScaler, ShareFile) complemented by the Appcara AppStack automation platform to package, deploy and manage cloud applications. The integrated solution cut application packaging from two weeks to two hours, enabled tailored, cost-effective offerings (one MatterPoint customer saved more than $1M annually and reduced labor costs by nearly two-thirds), supported rapid legal-industry scaling and multi-cloud hosting, and helped SSI grow its cloud business about 50% in a year without adding headcount.
