Syx Automations Group, a Belgian market leader for IT in the leisure sector (including Sydelsoft’s ReCreateX ERP), faced growing customer demand for a complete, flexible hosted desktop environment. Clients such as parks, museums and sports clubs needed scalable, remote-access workspaces to handle seasonal peaks, simplify IT management and replace complex on-premises infrastructure with predictable costs.

Syx delivered ReCreateX as a DaaS using Citrix (XenDesktop/XenApp/Receiver) on Microsoft Hyper‑V across two green data centers, with HP thin clients and 24/7 support. The virtualized environment (about 100 VMs supporting roughly 400 active clients and 200+ ReCreateX users) enabled rapid provisioning, reduced IT complexity, clear per‑workstation pricing, easy scalability for seasonal demand, secure remote access from devices like iPads, and a more sustainable IT footprint.
