Grundfos A/S is a major Danish industrial company with 18,000 employees across 56 countries that relies on heavy cross-border information exchange. Smaller sites suffered long response times for chat, email, phone and video, prompting IT to find a solution that would speed access and improve global collaboration without buying more bandwidth.

Grundfos deployed Citrix Branch Repeater at its smaller offices to optimize applications and WAN traffic. The Smart Acceleration–based solution cut response times by about 90 (employees now get needed information in ~30 seconds vs. five minutes), sped file sharing, reduced broadband use, simplified IT management, and was rolled out across all branch locations.
