Neste is a global producer of renewable diesel with 5,400 employees, four refineries and offices in 16 countries, committed to minimizing environmental impact. The company’s aging Citrix infrastructure was reaching end of life, causing slow, latency-prone application performance (with most traffic routed through Finland), frequent local workarounds, and higher deployment and update costs.

Neste adopted a Citrix Cloud First strategy and deployed a hybrid architecture combining Citrix Cloud Services, Google Cloud Platform and on‑premises resources with help from Cloud2, enabling HTML5 access, Google single sign‑on and a range of endpoint devices. The move cut server needs, improved performance, security and scalability, simplified IT management and faster onboarding, supported remote work and sustainability goals — helping Neste maintain top global sustainability rankings and greater business agility.
