Case Study: MoneySuperMarket achieves secure, flexible remote working with Citrix XenDesktop

A Citrix Case Study

Preview of the MoneySuperMarket Case Study

MoneySuperMarket - Customer Case Study

MoneySupermarket.com, the UK’s leading price comparison site, needed to give its 500 employees more flexibility—including BYOD and remote working—without compromising the security of sensitive customer and financial data or disrupting legacy Windows XP back-office tools. IT leadership sought a consistent Windows 7 desktop experience while protecting against cyber threats and preserving customer trust.

The company piloted Citrix XenDesktop for a team of data analysts, hosting virtual desktops in the datacenter and issuing secure “clean” laptops that separate web browsing from sensitive systems. The result: analysts can run long jobs remotely and pick up work anywhere, the office now supports hot‑desking and stronger physical security, and web threats are isolated from customer data; MoneySupermarket plans to scale the virtual desktop roll‑out and use XenApp to stream legacy apps.
