Mazars, a Dutch accountancy, tax and advisory firm with 10 offices, 600 staff and 44 partners (part of the 17,000‑person Mazars Group), needed secure mobile access to its centrally hosted desktop environment for employees working at client sites. The company wanted a controllable, easy‑to‑use solution to standardize file exchange and prevent sensitive data from being lost or exposed via the public cloud.

Working with POR, Mazars implemented Citrix ShareFile and NetScaler on‑premises with strong authentication to deliver secure remote access and private‑cloud file sharing on its SAN. The rollout made ShareFile the standard for client exchanges, reduced help‑desk file‑sharing workload by 60%, sped and secured data transfers, and provided hosting/load‑balancing for business apps while enabling new SaaS and BYOD initiatives such as a XenMobile pilot.
