Jinchuan Group, a leading Chinese metallurgical company known as the "Nickel King," faced IT strain as it expanded internationally—most urgently at its import/export arm, Shanghai Jinyao, which grew from a dozen to dozens of staff handling 70 billion yuan in annual trade. Jinchuan implemented Citrix XenDesktop Enterprise with HP thin clients to centralize desktops and applications (Microsoft Office, futures trading, ERP, IM) and deliver virtual desktops over a constrained 8 Mbps link.
