Jamba Juice deploys virtual desktops from California to remote employees in India with Citrix XenDesktop

Jamba Juice, a U.S.-based retail chain with 800+ locations worldwide, needed to move core accounting, finance, HR and IT functions to Bangalore through a partnership with Cap Gemini. The challenge was to give about 50 remote Indian employees secure, PCI-compliant access to U.S. systems—and do it within a 90-day deadline.

Working with Entisys, Jamba Juice deployed Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop (plus NetScaler, StoreFront and Director) to deliver virtual desktops and applications in roughly 60 days. The rollout provided low-latency access, centralized visibility for compliance, and easy remote support, allowing a single administrator to manage about 100 users, prompting license expansion and wider adoption across the company while reducing IT overhead.
