Datapipe, a New Jersey–based IT services provider for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients, was expanding into new industries and regions and shifting toward larger enterprises with complex cloud needs. To support rapid growth it needed greater cloud flexibility, faster provisioning, more product choices and a high level of service without dramatically increasing staff or costs.

Datapipe adopted Citrix CloudPlatform with NetScaler, XenServer, XenDesktop and XenApp to deliver public, private and hybrid cloud services from a single, hypervisor-agnostic platform. The solution let customers pick the right cloud model, enabled virtual NetScaler to cut hardware and training costs, and used XenServer and bare-metal provisioning to speed deployments (about 25% faster) and reduce time-to-revenue—allowing Datapipe to scale globally, lower cost exposure and improve customer service.
