Ind-Swift Laboratories Enhances Remote Access with a Citrix Solution

Ind-Swift Laboratories, a Chandigarh-based manufacturer of pharmaceutical active ingredients, was experiencing rapid growth and expanding IT needs across about 10 remote sites. With an in‑house ERP in use and SAP All‑in‑One planned, the company needed a secure, centralized way to deliver core applications, improve remote access, and simplify support without sending IT staff to each location.

Partnering with Momentum Infocare, Ind‑Swift deployed Citrix XenApp Advanced Edition and Citrix Access Gateway on eight HP blade servers to deliver applications to about 140 concurrent users on thin clients, desktops and laptops. The centralized Citrix environment streamlined administration, improved business continuity and R&D collaboration, cut IT/travel and personnel costs, and earned a 50% increase in the IT budget to accelerate SAP rollout and expand Citrix coverage.
