Midland Realty, one of Hong Kong’s largest and first publicly listed property agencies, needed to support a highly mobile sales force that was increasingly using personal smartphones and tablets. An earlier BlackBerry-based solution provided good e-mail but lacked app support and an intuitive user experience, and the shift to BYOD created a fragmented device environment that strained IT with costly cross-platform development and support.

After evaluating several options, Midland chose Citrix (XenDesktop/XenApp with Citrix Receiver) to deliver corporate apps to any device. A successful pilot quickly expanded into wider deployment: the solution simplified device setup and self-service onboarding, reduced IT troubleshooting, improved productivity, enabled rapid revocation of lost-device access, and paved the way for company-wide rollout.
