A Citrix Case Study
Gribskov Municipality, a modern Danish public-sector organization of about 3,000 employees using roughly 200 applications, needed a cheaper, safer and more flexible IT workplace. Frequent, costly PC refresh cycles, a cumbersome client/server environment, and strict data-security requirements for citizen records made it difficult to support flexible and BYOD working.
By making Citrix a core part of its IT strategy, Gribskov centralized apps and data, extended PC lifecycles, simplified application deployment and user management, and enabled secure remote and BYOD access. The outcome was lower capital and operational costs, stronger security and IT efficiency, and higher employee satisfaction and recruitment appeal.
