Fullerton India, a rapidly growing NBFC with more than 5,500 employees across 361 branches serving over a million customers, was struggling with aging physical desktops, slow application response, frequent downtime and high end-point help-desk volumes—issues that were harming employee productivity and IT manageability. CIO Anoop Handa needed a fast, cost-effective way to improve end-point support and user satisfaction as traditional desktops reached end of life.
Fullerton ran a Citrix XenDesktop proof-of-concept and, with implementation partner Anunta Tech on a pay-per-use model, rolled out virtual desktops in phases. Centralized management cut help-desk tickets by about 30%, sped up boot times, enabled seamless access and recovery across branches, delivered up to 70% power savings and better storage utilization—boosting productivity and paving the way for future BYOD initiatives.
