Case Study: Fujitsu achieves fast, mobile, secure workplace transformation for Germany’s Federal Employment Agency with Citrix

A Citrix Case Study

Preview of the Fujitsu Case Study

Fujitsu delivers the workplace of the future to transform a German state agency

Fujitsu, partnering with Citrix, helped Germany’s Federal Employment Agency modernize its aging IT to meet rapidly shifting constituent demands. The agency needed a more flexible, secure way to deliver services—an urgent requirement when the 2015 refugee influx dramatically increased demand for mobile, adaptive casework that the traditional desktop model could not support.

Fujitsu deployed Citrix XenDesktop and NetScaler to create a Workplace of the Future, giving employees secure, anywhere access to apps, desktops and data. The new policies for remote, mobile and home work already freed 10,000 staff to work where they’re most productive, standardized and sped workspace delivery, and enabled the agency to scale services quickly and humanely during the crisis, with a goal to extend anywhere/any-device access to most of its 160,000 employees by 2020.
