Faster child care results from paperless court proceedings

Carmarthenshire County Council faced major delays, high costs, and security risks from managing child care court bundles as large paper files, sometimes totaling thousands of pages. Working with Citrix and using Citrix ShareFile, the council needed a way to securely share sensitive documents, audio, video, and images across multiple agencies and court stakeholders.

Citrix implemented a paperless, encrypted, permission-based ShareFile portal for live case bundles, giving over 2,000 users always-up-to-date access. The result was an 84% reduction in photocopying, major admin time savings, and faster workflows, with judges and barristers able to use a laptop instead of carrying stacks of paper to court.
