CNAV, or the National Old Age Insurance Fund has improved its IT system support and development with Citrix’s TRM Services

La Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Vieillesse (CNAV) is France’s largest pension fund, serving 10.3 million private‑sector members with 14,200 staff across 2,400 sites. CNAV runs a vast IT estate—including about 1,000 servers and thousands of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop users—and needed dedicated, nationwide technical support to quickly resolve or even anticipate incidents, validate changes, and reliably implement regional IT projects and upgrades without disrupting pension services.

CNAV engaged Citrix’s Technical Relationship Manager (TRM) service, embedding a single, specialist point of contact who is deeply familiar with CNAV’s infrastructure and available on-site regularly. The TRM provided proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting (including support during the CPS to XenApp 5 migration), change validation and regional coordination, which reduced incident recurrence, accelerated project rollouts and upgrades, and left CNAV better prepared for future migrations such as XenDesktop 7.
