Case Study: Soudronic AG achieves secure mobile working and flexible virtual desktops with Citrix

A Citrix Case Study

Preview of the Soudronic Case Study

Citrix supports mobile working at Soudronic

Soudronic AG, a Swiss-based global leader in metal packaging with more than 500 employees and multiple production sites, needed to modernize its IT to support mobile and flexible work. The company aimed to virtualize all user desktops and provide secure access from any device—including Apple iPads—while ensuring employees could view and store corporate documents offline without compromising security.

Soudronic deployed Citrix XenDesktop on XenServer with NetScaler for high availability, SSL VPN and multi‑factor authentication for secure access, and Citrix Receiver on mobile devices; Citrix ShareFile was used to synchronize and encrypt corporate documents with remote wipe capability. The result: secure, flexible access to desktops and apps from anywhere, reliable offline document access on tablets, centralized control for IT, and improved productivity and manageability across the organization.
