Citrix NetScaler Enables Hassle Free Access to Data Anywhere, Anytime for Essar's Business Users

Essar Group, a USD 27 billion Indian multinational with over 60,000 employees, needed a technology refresh to support its expanding global operations. Its existing SSL VPN could not meet growing demands for secure remote access, and Essar required a single solution to deliver SSL VPN, reverse proxy with WAF, secure file sharing with rights management, and mobility security (MDM/MAM) while providing geo-redundancy, better uptime and reduced architectural complexity.

Essar selected Citrix NetScaler and completed implementation between January and April 2017. NetScaler delivered geo-location based access, a simplified virtual architecture and integrated features (SSL VPN, WAF, reverse proxy, MDM/MAM, ShareFile and an Enterprise App Store), resulting in lower infrastructure and network costs, higher IT and business-user efficiency, faster deployments and upgrades, improved utilization and business continuity, and secure anytime, anywhere data access.
