Citrix Helps Future Group Realize Faster Time to Market, Better Security

Future Group, a Mumbai‑headquartered retailer operating in about 170 cities with thousands of suppliers and some 300 million annual store visits, was rapidly expanding—opening 10–15 new stores a month—and found traditional desktops could not keep up. The IT team faced complexity in managing large numbers of devices and applications while meeting strict data‑security requirements, including PCI‑DSS compliance.

Future Group implemented Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix NetScaler in a phased rollout—migrating around 1,000 users so far and procuring 5,000 licenses—to deliver centrally managed virtual desktops and secure, high‑availability application delivery (including Chrome Receiver support). The solution sped time to market, reduced IT costs and administration, enabled secure anywhere/any‑device access, improved data protection and compliance, and increased employee satisfaction.
