Case Study: ECS 2XL achieves reliable, high-availability remote connectivity with Citrix SD‑WAN

A Citrix Case Study

Preview of the ECS 2XL Case Study

Citrix helps ECS 2XL succeed in demanding environments

ECS 2XL, a Belgian logistics company formed from a recent merger with 15 warehouse and office locations across Europe, needed reliable communications to support just-in-time inventory and rapidly deployed “pop-up” warehousing. Remote sites often relied on slow consumer-grade lines, 4G or microwave links that frequently failed, disrupting the warehouse management system and VoIP and forcing costly onsite engineer visits.

Working with partner Xylos, ECS 2XL deployed Citrix SD‑WAN to aggregate and intelligently route traffic across MPLS, DSL, 4G and microwave links. The “connectivity‑in‑a‑box” approach enabled 20‑minute site activations instead of months, provided automatic failover and consistent voice/data quality, centralized network visibility, reduced reliance on expensive SLAs and manual redundancy, and delivered faster, more reliable service to customers.
