Case Study: O'Neill achieves global virtual collaboration and improved customer service with Citrix

A Citrix Case Study

Preview of the O'Neill Case Study

Citrix delivers user happiness at sportswear specialist

O’Neill is a global action-sports apparel brand founded in 1952 that manufactures across some 140 factories and operates dozens of regional offices and retail stores. Rapid international growth created challenges in supporting remote sites and mobile staff, maintaining high availability and fast business applications, and reducing communication and support costs across 66 UK/European locations and worldwide operations.

O’Neill deployed a Citrix-based solution—GoToAssist for remote support and monitoring, GoToMeeting/HDFaces for collaboration, XenDesktop virtual desktops, NetScaler for load balancing and SSL offload, and Branch Repeater for WAN acceleration—to centralize IT, speed applications and enable 24/7 remote diagnostics. The result was a unified virtual environment with lower communication costs, minimized downtime, improved application availability and response times (Branch Repeater delivered up to 8× acceleration and ~65% compression), and stronger internal and customer relationships.
