Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt - Customer Case Study

Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 (CCHE) is a Cairo-based pediatric oncology hospital with 320 beds that provides free, high‑quality cancer care across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. CCHE needed a secure way for clinicians to access patient records from any device and location, while centrally managing and reducing the cost and downtime of maintaining some 1,000 PCs and laptops.

CCHE deployed Citrix XenApp (with local partner eSkyIT) to virtualize and stream applications, enabling online and offline access, device-agnostic clinician mobility and the switch to lower‑cost thin clients. The rollout centralized app management, cut IT update time and costs, reduced downtime and paper processes, improved data security and clinician productivity, and freed budget and IT resources to focus on patient care and future technology improvements.
