Campion Insurance, founded in 1984 and now operating 11 offices with 150 staff across Ireland, faced serious performance and stability problems after consolidating onto a single Relay insurance platform. Physical servers left the firm with slow, frustrating desktop performance, frequent outages that knocked groups of users offline, and limited flexibility—issues that threatened customer service and hampered growth.

Working with Trilogy Technologies, Campion moved to a fully virtualised, datacentre‑hosted infrastructure using Citrix XenApp to deliver virtual desktops. The change delivered immediate, reliable performance at scale, seamless access from any office or device, built‑in resilience against hardware failures, and easy scalability for new locations; the firm is now also rolling out thin clients to cut power and maintenance costs.
