Case Study: Brasfield and Gorrie achieves paperless, secure mobile collaboration with Citrix

A Citrix Case Study

Brasfield and Gorrie builds productivity and security with paperless collaboration

Brasfield and Gorrie, a major privately held construction firm with about 2,900 employees across the southeastern U.S., needed a way for project teams to access and share documents from many dispersed job sites. Employees had been using consumer file‑sharing tools, which created security, standardization and compliance risks—IT couldn’t control where proprietary or sensitive PII ended up or revoke access when people left.

The company deployed Citrix ShareFile with XenDesktop and NetScaler to provide secure file sync, reliable remote access and centralized IT control. Project managers now view plans on iPads, collaborate with architects and subcontractors, and send large files from Outlook while IT can immediately revoke access to protect IP and E‑Verify data. The result: improved security and compliance, faster invoice processing, greater employee mobility (many shifting to tablets), and more paperless, productive job sites.
