Case Study: Aegis achieves centralized IT and cuts server footprint by 40% and storage by 60% with Citrix

A Citrix Case Study

Preview of the Aegis Case Study

Aegis Limited leverages end-to-end Citrix solution to move from distributedto centralize architecture

Aegis Limited, a global outsourcing and technology services firm with more than 40,000 employees across 46 locations, was struggling with a fragmented IT landscape: over 30 delivery centres in India each ran independent AD, antivirus, backup and storage systems, making desktop management, application rollouts and compliance audits slow and complex.

Aegis implemented a unified Citrix stack—XenServer, XenDesktop, XenApp and NetScaler—across all centres, hosting 3,000 VDI users and 9,000 XenApp users on 350+ XenServer instances. The centralized environment cut server footprint by ~40% and storage by ~60%, reduced new application rollouts from days to hours, sped workstation deployment, lowered power use and simplified audits and support.
