Case Study: Stora Enso achieves AEO certification readiness with Citicus ONE

Guaranteeing a safe and secure supply chain through AEO certification

Stora Enso, one of Europe’s first companies to pursue Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certification, needed a consistent way to assess readiness across its global supply chain. To support this effort, the company used Citicus ONE to evaluate risk and security requirements across mills and other operations involved in exports and imports.

Citicus helped Stora Enso configure Citicus ONE into its information risk management process, adding AEO readiness to existing evaluation bases for sites, applications, networks, and production systems. The result was a structured certification process spanning multiple mills in Sweden, Finland, Germany and beyond, with measurable progress of about 300 assets evaluated and 100 fully assessed, helping Stora Enso improve security, documentation, and customs readiness.
