Case Study: Mayfair Residential Care Home achieves CQC ‘good’ ratings with Citation

Mayfair Residential Care Home, a family-run care home in Morecambe, needed to improve its CQC performance after a July 2017 inspection found issues in five areas and breaches of four regulations. They worked with Citation, using support across HR, Employment Law, Health & Safety, along with Citation’s CQC Pro platform, Care Policies & Procedures, and Fire Risk Assessments.

Citation helped Mayfair Residential Care Home put the right systems and training in place, including Atlas training for new starters and adaptable care policies that saved time. As a result, by their October 2018 inspection, the home was rated good in all areas and was in breach of no regulations, achieving a dramatic turnaround in just a few months.
