SickKids Foundation, one of Canada’s largest charities raising funds for The Hospital for Sick Children (including a $1.3B multi‑year campaign), needed a more efficient, accurate way to monitor media and measure its communications performance. Using multiple providers left the PR team spending hours each morning compiling reports, missing important print and broadcast clips, and lacking clear competitive share‑of‑voice and insights.
The foundation consolidated monitoring, media databases, social listening and analytics on the Cision Communications Cloud—adding unlimited broadcast clips and Cision Insights—which streamlined workflows and improved accuracy. The change halved the time to produce daily monitoring reports, delivered more complete coverage and better media targeting, enabled tailored donor stewardship content, and provided deeper competitive analytics and responsive vendor support.
