LG Group partnered with designer Tokujin Yoshioka to mark its 70th anniversary with the large-scale light art installation S.F. Senses of the Future at Milano Design Week 2017. Wanting communications that were both informative and visually impactful, LG determined a traditional text-only release couldn’t convey the exhibition’s visual experience and sought Cision’s help to reach international audiences.
Cision produced a multi-channel multimedia news release—combining text, photos, video, audio and social assets—and distributed it via PR Newswire across the United States and all EU countries in five languages, targeting travel and lifestyle media. The campaign drove more than 33,000 views, 28,000+ image views and 2,700+ video views, was picked up by 330+ online outlets (including NYT, Vogue, BBC Radio and Dezeen), reached a potential audience of 127 million, expanded visibility across major European news agencies, and delivered detailed visibility reporting.
