Lavu, founded in Albuquerque in 2010 and maker of the first full-featured iPad POS, provides cost-effective software to food service providers in over 80 countries. Facing an increasingly crowded mobile POS market, Lavu needed to generate qualified leads and raise brand awareness among millennial entrepreneurs and the publications and influencers that reach them, using a free, high-value resource to drive inbound interest.

Lavu partnered with Cision and PR Newswire to promote an original guide, using a Multimedia News Release as a branded landing-page hub with an integrated lead-generation form (linked to their marketing automation) and distribution across paid, organic, media and social channels. The campaign delivered 200% more leads than the success criteria, drove 2,000 net new landing-page views, more than 20,000 image views/downloads, top-5 search rankings for key menu-related terms and resulted in free-trial signups, prompting Lavu to continue using the Multimedia News Release for future campaigns.
