Pima Community College needed to modernize a legacy network to support new educational use cases while improving reliability, security, and day-to-day operations across its 12 campuses. After comparing options from three vendors, Pima chose Cisco Meraki and Cisco Secure solutions for their ease of use and intuitive dashboard.

Cisco Meraki helped Pima rapidly re-architect and deploy the network in just nine months, installing 400 Meraki MS switches, more than 1,000 MR access points, MV smart cameras, and MT sensors. The upgrade improved connectivity with a single seamless Wi‑Fi SSID, strengthened security, and enabled new use cases such as HVAC monitoring and remote livestreaming for hands-on healthcare training.
