Taxware, LLC, a leading tax determination software provider with over 300 employees and offices in Massachusetts and Maine, needed a cloud networking solution to secure corporate and guest Wi‑Fi across multiple sites while enabling remote management for a small IT team. They chose Cisco Meraki (Security & SD‑WAN, Switching, Wireless WAN) to meet requirements for secure data centers, high SLA availability, and simple, centralized administration.

Cisco Meraki deployed MR access points, MS switches and MX security appliances managed from a single cloud dashboard, creating separate employee and guest networks with 802.1X RADIUS authentication, click‑through splash pages, per‑device traffic shaping and Layer‑3 firewall rules. The result was a more secure, centrally managed network—guest content is blocked, site‑to‑site VPN is provisioned in two clicks, and IT can monitor and troubleshoot remotely—freeing the lean IT team to focus on other projects while benefiting from Cisco Meraki’s high reliability.
