Pedaling toward omnichannel customer experiences with digital price tags

Mike’s Bikes, a bike retailer with 18 stores and two distribution warehouses, needed a more efficient way to manage pricing, improve network reliability, and support omnichannel customer experiences. To address these challenges, Mike’s Bikes adopted Cisco Meraki technology, including Meraki MR access points and Meraki MX security and SD-WAN appliances, alongside digital price tags.

Cisco Meraki helped Mike’s Bikes roll out SES-imagotag digital tags integrated with Meraki MR access points, eliminating the need to print thousands of paper price tags each year. The result was faster price updates across all stores and online, fewer site visits thanks to remote configuration, improved visibility for the IT team, and estimated savings of about 30,000 sheets of paper annually, plus lower labor and maintenance costs.
