Case Study: PGA Tour Superstores achieves modernized in‑store connectivity and simplified IT management with Cisco Meraki

A Cisco Meraki Case Study

Preview of the PGA Tour Superstores Case Study

Modernizing the retail experience across 20 sites with wireless and switching solutions

PGA Tour Superstores, a 20‑location specialty retailer, needed to modernize aging wireless infrastructure to support guest BYOD, vendor kiosks, cutting‑edge golf tech and PCI compliance while being managed by a small five‑person IT team. They selected Cisco Meraki wireless and switching solutions (cloud‑managed MR access points and MS switches) to provide scalable, secure networking and better visibility across stores.

Cisco Meraki deployed three MR access points and one MS switch per store with cloud dashboard features — cloned configurations, SSID segmentation, time‑based policies and bandwidth limits — enabling rapid, plug‑and‑play rollouts and minimal onsite troubleshooting. The Cisco Meraki solution delivered PCI‑compliant BYOD and guest Wi‑Fi across all 20 locations, preserved bandwidth for critical applications by curbing vendor downloads, and provided built‑in analytics for marketing and operations.
