A Cisco Meraki Case Study
CBTS, a Cincinnati-based service provider, needed a way to expand geographically and grow revenue without increasing OpEx or relying on lengthy capital-approval cycles. To launch a predictable, scalable Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering, CBTS selected Cisco Meraki (MR, MS, MX and Meraki Insight) for its cloud-hosted control plane, single-pane-of-glass dashboard, MSP portal and API-driven automation to enable co-management and rapid, remote configuration.
Using Cisco Meraki, CBTS deployed a co‑managed full‑stack solution (wireless, switching, SD‑WAN) with automatic equipment refreshes and programmatic provisioning, scaling to over 600 NaaS customers and 15,000 Meraki devices. Results include 63% YoY managed‑service growth, a 30‑day average site install interval (down from 120 days), an 80% downtime reduction in a large retail rollout, increased ARPU, 74% of customers buying additional CBTS solutions, shorter quote‑to‑cash cycles and higher customer satisfaction.
