A Cisco Meraki Case Study

Preview of the Mad For Garlic Case Study

Mad for Garlic brings new possibilities for restaurant chains by introducing automated ordering system to its 41 branches with Cisco Meraki based cloud-managed service

Mad for Garlic, a Korean restaurant chain, faced a COVID‑driven need to minimize face‑to‑face contact while maintaining fast, accurate service across multiple locations. To deliver a reliable LAN and centralized management with limited IT staff, Mad for Garlic turned to Cisco Meraki (MR20 and MS120) via the KT Managed On Cisco Meraki–based managed service to support its new Tab Order contact‑free ordering platform.

Using the Cisco Meraki solution and KT Managed On, Mad for Garlic rolled out tablet‑based Tab Order and a cloud‑managed network across all 41 branches, enabling seamless wireless connectivity, automated table ordering, faster and more accurate service, and reduced human contact. Cisco Meraki’s centralized dashboard allowed a small IT team to remotely monitor and manage the entire infrastructure, supporting the July 2021 expansion to 41 restaurants and creating a reference model for other franchise rollouts.
