A Cisco Meraki Case Study
TOZ, Korea’s first co‑working space provider operating 259 centers and serving over 12 million people, faced a rapidly growing, distributed operation and rising mobile-device demand that required a fast, secure and centrally managed wireless network. To meet that need, TOZ evaluated multiple vendors and chose Cisco Meraki’s cloud‑managed solution—including MR access points, MS PoE/Ethernet switches, MX security appliances and Systems Manager—for its performance, reliability and ease of management.
Cisco Meraki’s deployment (about 130 centers since October 2016, with 2 Meraki PoE switches and 4–7 MR APs per site and further rollouts planned) delivered real‑time dashboard visibility, network topology and location heat maps, per‑device traffic controls, remote diagnostics and centralized admin role management. The Meraki solution reduced deployment time and cost, improved network stability and management efficiency across TOZ’s distributed sites, and enabled TOZ to monitor traffic and occupancy in real time while scaling nationwide and preparing for further expansion.
